Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Fritz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fritz comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman . Tom Fritz had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fritz pinned against the cage. Fritz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Penn tries to clinch up but Fritz circles away and keeps his distance.

Fritz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Penn wants to pass the guard but Fritz is keeping the position.

Penn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fritz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Penn has managed to get both his arms back between Fritz's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fritz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Penn has his foot on Fritz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fritz works his way back into a safe position though.

Fritz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Penn to the mat! Penn manages to get full guard.
