Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Massif Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Massif Dong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Massif Dong! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James clinches up with Dong and pushes him back against the cage. James scores with a nice hook to the head. James lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Dong is looking to break free of the clinch but James has double underhooks. James lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Dong jumps guard but James stands there with Dong around his waist. Dong gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
James works on Dong's body with a couple of short punches. Dong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but James has him pressed against the cage. Dong wants to break free but James has control.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as James takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. James lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dong. James unloads a knee to the mid-section. James landing some nice looking knees to the body.
James lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. James scores with a shoulder strike. Dong takes an elbow to the forehead.

James is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! James works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
James gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Nice body punch from James. James creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dong's defenses. Knees to the body from James.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dong fails to pull the fight into his guard.

James unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dong lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. James lands a nice shot to the body. James landing knees to the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from James. James comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A short right from James on the inside. James throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. James lands with a right to the head. Dong is trying to break the clinch but James has him pressed against the cage. James keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dong's efforts to push away. James stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. James slowing the pace effectively. Dong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Stalling in the clinch from James.
James keeps control of Dong as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dong wants to break free but James has control.
James landing knees to the head.
James lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dong backwards. James displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dong up against the cage. Dong takes an elbow to the forehead. James gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dong.
Jesse James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Massif Dong. James utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. James lands a body shot. James lands a nice uppercut. James has Dong pressed against the cage.

James gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dong wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. James obliges. James lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Dong fails to pull guard.
James is struggling to control the position. James seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Dong gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! James is trying is best to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse James dominated that round. The cut man is working on Massif Dong's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A head kick from James lands but Dong takes it in his stride. James throws a series of punches but Dong moves out of range. Dong throws a left and a right that both miss
and James finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A big right from Dong misses. James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dong can do to turn this around? James closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dong did well to prevent James getting side control. Still in half guard, James seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James uses his free foot to push down on Dong's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dong. A nice elbow there by James. James working away from the top, dropping strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. James working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. James controlling the position easily from mount. James quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for James but it's paid off an Dong is forced to tap! Nice work by James.
