Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodger Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Mjød, Kvelartak. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson swats away the attempt to clinch by Vera.
Tyson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vera defends it nicely.
Tyson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vera's waist but Vera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyson off to one side.

Tyson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vera avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tyson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
