Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fender Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fender Gibson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry Flint! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fender Gibson! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Flint is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gibson. Flint misses with the combination.
Gibson thuds his right hand into Flint's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Flint shoots in for a double leg but Gibson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A right-left combo lands from Gibson. Gibson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gibson. Fender Gibson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flint waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gibson. Flint shoots for a double leg takedown but Gibson sprawls well. He's pushed Flint's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Flint really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gibson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Flint gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Flint shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Flint was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Flint content just to control the position here. Gibson is trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flint controlling his opponent. Gibson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Gibson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Flint content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gibson wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Flint controlling the pace for now. Flint won't let Gibson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Flint lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gibson hang on? Flint controlling from mount. Gibson wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gibson can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flint looking to control and managing it successfully. Gibson tries to buck Flint off but Flint takes his back! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Flint will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gibson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Flint controls the position. Gibson wants to get back to his feet. Flint biding his time, looking for the opening.
Flint working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Gibson is doing well to defend. Flint seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Gibson is forced to tap and this one is over!
