Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robbie Mac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ludi Sisoje!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac steps into range and cracks Sisoje with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Sisoje flops backwards and Mac dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Ludi Sisoje has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sisoje controls Mac momentarily but Mac frees himself.
Mac stands up from Sisoje's guard - Mac perhaps looking for a knockout.
Sisoje will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mac throws a shot from downtown. Sisoje moves away and avoids it.
Mac fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sisoje tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mac was well out of range. Poor timing from Sisoje.
Sisoje fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mac shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mac prevents Sisoje from improving his position.
Mac stands up from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Mac as Sisoje shoots in.
Mac clinches up with Sisoje and pushes him back against the cage.
Mac's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sisoje is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A telegraphed right hand from Mac misses the target.
Mac pushes Sisoje up against the cage in a clinch.
Mac breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mac connects with a jab.
Sisoje dives in and grabs Mac's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mac pushes down on Sisoje's head and hops out.
Mac cracks Sisoje with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sisoje tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mac pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sisoje is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robbie Mac!
