The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer clinches up with Fernandez and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Luis Fernandez has been cut.
Fernandez takes a knee to the side of the body.
Hammer with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Hammer putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Fernandez in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Fernandez tries to score a body lock takedown but Hammer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Fernandez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hammer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hammer jerks Fernandez's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Fernandez drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Hammer goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Hammer because Fernandez was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
