PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between sub zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezio Machiavelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
zero looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Machiavelli lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and zero has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from zero and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Machiavelli wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by zero, who protects the arm well.

Machiavelli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Machiavelli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Machiavelli is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but zero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Machiavelli has hold of zero's arm. He's looking for a kimura. zero seems comfortable defending it but Machiavelli has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! zero is real pain and he's forced to tap out! zero is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Machiavelli couldn't care less - he's delighted!
