Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alf Histon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Topper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Histon comes to the cage accompanied by Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Topper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Histon regains half guard.
Histon works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Histon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Topper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Histon is on top in guard.
Topper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Topper thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Histon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Topper looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Topper looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Topper!

Histon is doing well to control the position and prevent Topper from advancing to side control.
Topper is keen to just control but Histon is a slippery customer.

Histon is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Topper is defending well though. Histon let's go of the attempt for now.

Topper regains half guard there - taking advantage of Histon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Topper turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Histon off and cradles Topper's limp body as Histon celebrates with his corner.
