Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axl Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki fails to land the takedown.
Brown tries to clinch but Aoki is having none of it.

Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aoki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aoki shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Aoki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aoki closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Aoki pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Axl Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aoki manages to avoid it.
Aoki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brown tries to clinch up but Aoki circles away and keeps his distance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Aoki shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brown throws a series of punches but Aoki moves out of range.

Aoki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aoki somewhat.

Brown feints and as Aoki raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Brown not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Brown postures up and lands a big shot to Aoki's brow.

Brown wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving.

Aoki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown throws a series of punches but Aoki avoids them all with ease.

and Brown counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aoki!

Aoki is bucking up trying to escape but Brown cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aoki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brown landing strikes, looking to finish!
Brown has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Aoki's face.
Brown moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Aoki has worked his arm free - good work by Aoki!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brown cracks Aoki with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aoki takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Brown tries for a kimura but Aoki is defending well.
Aoki is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Brown's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Brown is working for a submission of some sort.
Aoki is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Brown is tapping! Great win for Aoki!
