The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rutt checks a leg kick.
Ali tests Rutt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rutt blocks a low kick nicely.
Rutt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ali connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rutt momentarily.
Ali shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rutt tries to clinch up.
Ali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ali connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rutt. Rutt circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ali connects with a crisp jab.
Ali walks into a stiff left hand from Rutt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ali.
Rutt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ali misses with a head kick.
The fighters circle, before Ali throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Rutt's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ali lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
