Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vince Mimsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mimsy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dropkick Murphys - Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mimsy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mimsy slips nicely into half guard.
Mimsy is looking to take a break and control but Romano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mimsy is trying to work for a kimura but Romano is defending well.

Mimsy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Romano to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Romano shrugs it off.

Romano doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mimsy counters with a shoot takedown. Romano fights it but they end up in guard.
Romano looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mimsy has picked Romano up and slammed him! Romano can't keep hold of the triangle and Mimsy manages to pass to side control!
