Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerome McCool will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome McCool! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Summers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McCool napping and manages to drive through into side control! Summers swings around for an armbar but McCool sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Summers's guard. McCool won't allow Summers to sweep him here. McCool throws a big right hand that misses. McCool scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Summers looking to hit a scissor sweep but McCool is one step ahead there. McCool looking to pass the guard. McCool is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McCool got a little sloppy there for a moment and Summers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McCool has managed to get both his arms back between Summers's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Summers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McCool defends it easily. McCool gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from McCool. McCool scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. McCool is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Summers defends it well. Summers wants to get back to full guard. Summers gets full guard. McCool drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McCool jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McCool looks gassed! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McCool accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McCool avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Summers has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McCool should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Summers has tightened it up now! McCool should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
