Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ped Eber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Eber might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Why Can't We Be Friends?. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Davis sprawls well. Davis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eber gets slowly back to his feet. Eber shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense. Davis scores with a takedown into Eber's guard. Davis wants to control from the top but Eber keeps moving. Eber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eber tries to get out of the position. Eber can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Davis controls the pace. Eber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground. Eber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Davis wants to control but Eber is keeping him busy. Davis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eber has escaped the position, nice work there. Eber is working to avoid the ground and pound but Davis connects with a decent elbow. Eber gets back to half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Davis wants to control but Eber is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eber is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Davis pulls his head out easily. Davis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Eber knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Eber actively working from the bottom here. Eber is breathing heavily. Davis is working for a kimura but Eber is defending it quite comfortably.
Davis wants to control but Eber is keeping him busy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Davis wants to land a leg kick but Eber is out of range. Davis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Davis showed some decent athleticism there. Davis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Davis wants to control the pace but Eber is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis controlling his opponent. Eber tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Davis tries to control but Eber wriggling away. Davis landing strikes, looking to finish! Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Eber manages to avoid the submission attempt. Eber is looking for a sweep. Eber takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eber keeps working. Eber tries to bench press Davis off him but Davis keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Davis working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eber keeps working. Davis lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Eber is not content to let Davis control the position. Davis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eber has escaped the position, nice work there. Eber is trying to improve his position. Davis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Davis is trying to get an arm triangle but Eber is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davis shoots in and drives through. Eber sprawls well. Eber tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davis. Eber changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Davis fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Davis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Eber is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Davis grinds an elbow into Eber's temple. Eber is looking to regain half guard here but Davis keeps moving and retains side control. Davis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Davis scoring with punches and elbows. Davis tries for a kimura but Eber is defending well. Davis trying to control the position but Eber is working away. Eber wants to get back to his feet but Davis drags him back down. Davis working the body and head with strikes. Eber tries to get back to half guard but can't. Davis is trying to land an Americana. Dave Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Eber taking some punishment here, with Davis in his half guard. Davis passes to full mount! Davis looking to control but Eber is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Eber is wriggling around trying to escape.

Davis looking to control but Eber is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Eber is trying desperately to improve position. Davis looking to finish Eber with some ground and pound. This is bad for Eber! Eber is trying desperately to improve position. Davis wants to control the pace but Eber is squirming around nicely. Davis is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Eber is in real trouble.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis is riding his opponent, not letting Eber buck him off. Eber is trying to break free.
Davis tries to keep control of the position but Eber is staying busy. Eber is trapped and Davis is scoring with shots to the head and body. Eber is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Davis gets his way!
Davis lands shots from the back. Eber prevents Davis from getting a body triangle. Eber tries to escape but Davis has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eber is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Davis is trying to stick to Eber's back but Eber is turning into Davis. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Davis's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Eber. Eber throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Eber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Davis trying to keep a closed guard but Eber is proving a slippery customer.
Eber is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control. Ped Eber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Eber throws a strike but Davis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dave Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Eber keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Davis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Davis passes into half guard. Davis trying to control from half guard but Eber is working away. Eber actively working from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
