The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ormerod slips a jab and a cross from dondee.
Ormerod connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ormerod looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ormerod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts dondee as he jumps to the side.
dondee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ormerod shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has dondee pinned against the cage. dondee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ormerod shoots in but dondee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ormerod is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

dondee is staying active underneath Ormerod, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Timmy Ormerod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ormerod is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ormerod jumps guard and drags dondee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
dondee is working Ormerod over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
dondee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ormerod is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ormerod has escaped and now he's on top!
Ormerod wants to control from the top but dondee keeps moving.

Ormerod wants to pass the guard but dondee is keeping the position.
Ormerod stands and throws dondee's legs to the side, diving into side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

I would just about give that final round to Timmy Ormerod.
