Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tang stuffs the takedown.
Lusitania is looking to clinch.
Tang darts in and clinches Lusitania up against the cage.
Tang jumps into guard, dragging Lusitania to the mat.

Tang has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lusitania is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tang is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tang has escaped and now he's on top!

Tang gets to his feet - Lusitania follows without any prompting.
Lusitania shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tang sprawls well. Tang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lusitania gets slowly back to his feet.

Tang stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

and Tang holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Wu Tang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The King of Lusitania.
Lusitania is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tang is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lusitania to the mat. Lusitania regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tang wants to control from the top but Lusitania keeps moving.

Tang decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tang is working for a submission of some sort.
Lusitania flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Tang postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lusitania to stand up.
Lusitania closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tang did well to prevent Lusitania getting side control.
Tang wants to sweep but Lusitania has passed to side control!

Tang takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Lusitania is looking to take a break and control but Tang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lusitania jumps guard but Tang stands there with Lusitania around his waist. Lusitania gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tang shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tang was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lusitania is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lusitania has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wu Tang.
Well Tang has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
