These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John England! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for England, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pacanchika scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Pacanchika tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pacanchika wants to clinch up but England keeps it at a distance. England lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pacanchika circles away quickly and effectively. A telegraphed right hand from England misses the target. The crowd cheers as England lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pacanchika doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Bratuha Pacanchika has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pacanchika swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
England scores with a one two! Pacanchika had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. England scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pacanchika in his tracks. England avoids the head kick by Pacanchika.
England throws a nice looking combination but Pacanchika bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pacanchika is looking to clinch but England is avoiding it.

and Pacanchika counters with a takedown into side control. England is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Pacanchika stands up. Pacanchika is breathing heavily.

Bratuha Pacanchika's cut is getting worse. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pacanchika takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
England tries to bum rush Pacanchika with a series of wild strikes but Pacanchika uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pacanchika takes one to the side of the head.
England works over Pacanchika's head and body with a nice combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by England. England swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pacanchika counters with a single leg into guard. England didn't expect that. England really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pacanchika. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. England is looking to stand up but Pacanchika isn't so interested in that idea. England pushes Pacanchika off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jab from England. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pacanchika takes one to the side of the head.
England fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A left lands for England. England moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pacanchika takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
England throws a series of punches but Pacanchika moves out of range. A nice combination there by England.
Bratuha Pacanchika's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. John England is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. England drops Pacanchika with a beautiful combination! Pacanchika stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - England is looking for the KO! England throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Pacanchika stumbling backwards into the cage! Pacanchika bounces back off the cage towards England, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! England lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! England celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
