Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leffler lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pride tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leffler swivels and escapes.

Pride tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Leffler manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Pride gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

and Pride counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leffler won't be happy with that.
