Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Vallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garcia Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia Vega will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vallo blocks a leg kick.
Vega tries to close the distance and clinch but Vallo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vallo looks for a takedown but Vega sprawls well.
Vega throws a big shot that misses.
Vega swinging wildly here.
Vega moves into range and connects with a jab.
Vega scores with a nice strike.
Vega fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vallo manages to avoid it.
Vallo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vallo showed some decent athleticism there.
Vallo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Vallo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Vega is trying to stand back up but Vallo is controlling him
Vallo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vallo wants to work for an arm triangle but Vega is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vega is not content to let Vallo control the position.
Vallo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Vega loads up on a big right hand but Vallo slips the punch.

Vega rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vallo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vega. Vallo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vega misses with a wild combination.
Vega throws a nice looking combination but Vallo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vega's corner calls for a 1-2. Vega obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Vallo fails with a takedown attempt.
Vega tries to clinch up.

Vallo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Vallo is in close to Vega's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Vega wants to get back to his feet but Vallo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Vallo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Vega is looking to stand back up but Vallo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Vega.
Vega tries to kick Vallo off but Vallo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Vega avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Vallo.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vega pushes Vallo off looking to stand but Vallo dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vega throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vega looks gassed!
Vallo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vega circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Vallo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vallo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vega defends it nicely.
No joy there for Vega, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Garcia Vega will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Vega doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vallo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vega's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vallo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vega is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vega has escaped and now he's on top!

Vega wants to stand but Vallo is controlling his posture from full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Vega counters with a crisp one two that drops Vallo! Vega thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vallo to his feet! Vallo is in big trouble!
Vallo is rocked!

Oh Vallo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vega has his feet on Vallo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Vega lands a brutal uppercut that launches Vallo off his feet! Vallo tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Garcia Vega!
