Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Homo Erectus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zanos Pogrieshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pogrieshi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nile - the Infinity Of Stone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erectus fails to land the takedown.
Erectus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pogrieshi lands a nice hook to Erectus's body. Erectus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Pogrieshi as Erectus shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Homo Erectus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erectus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pogrieshi avoids it really well and circles away.
Erectus is breathing heavily.
Erectus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pogrieshi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Homo Erectus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Pogrieshi. No joy for Erectus on that attempt.
Pogrieshi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Homo Erectus has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
An inside leg kick lands from Pogrieshi.
Pogrieshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Erectus looks for a takedown but Pogrieshi sprawls well.
Pogrieshi darts in and clinches Erectus up against the cage.
Pogrieshi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Pogrieshi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Erectus fails with the takedown.
Pogrieshi throws a quick head kick that knocks Erectus silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Pogrieshi is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Zanos Pogrieshi!
