Sankari comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Odorants - This Night kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson slips a jab from Sankari.
Nyrkki Sankari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson avoids a kick to the body.
Sankari throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sankari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sankari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Sankari throws a jab when Johnson was well out of range.
A head kick misses from Sankari.
Sankari throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sankari misses with a leg kick.
Jab, jab by Sankari - just one landing.
A combination from Sankari does no damage.
Sankari throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.

Johnson scores with a takedown into Sankari's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sankari manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.

Sankari throws a wild body kick that Johnson sees coming a mile off.
Nyrkki Sankari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sankari loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Sankari lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sankari smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sankari fails to land with a series of punches.

Sankari lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Sankari takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Sankari scores with a nice body kick.

Sankari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sankari thows a body shot but no joy.
Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Sankari sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sankari!
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Sankari throws a head kick that misses.
Sankari pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sankari lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Sankari thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Ari Johnson has been cut.
Sankari fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Johnson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Johnson looks to clinch but Sankari throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Johnson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
