Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joel Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bailey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome to the TerrorDome. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joel Bailey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Smith! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith swinging wildly here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
Bailey looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range. Smith looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smith throws a hook but Bailey blocks it. Smith throws a looping overhand right but Bailey ducks down to avoid it. A big right from Smith misses. Smith moves in looking to clinch but Bailey pushes him off. Bailey tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Bailey is just out of range. Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bailey.
Smith walks into a left hand. Bailey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Smith misses with a wild body shot. Bailey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bailey lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Sloppy strikes there by Bailey. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The strikes coming from Bailey are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey lands an elbow. Smith seems a little lost for a moment, as Bailey dominates the positioning. Bailey throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Smith tries to improve position but can't. Smith struggling a bit here. Bailey trying to control the position but Smith is working away. Bailey taking a breather here. Bailey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working. Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bailey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith is looking for a sweep.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bailey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bailey lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bailey punishing his opponent with strikes. Bailey content just to control the position here. Smith tries to hold on but Bailey pushes him away. Smith tries to reverse the position but Bailey maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bailey working for a guillotine from mount but Smith is in no mood to give up. Bailey unloading with bombs! This has been an exciting period of action! Bailey quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Bailey but it's paid off an Smith is forced to tap! Nice work by Bailey.
