The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heidrich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wayne's waist but Wayne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Heidrich off to one side.
Heidrich on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wayne. Wayne obviously looking to wear him down.
Wayne scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Heidrich doesn't seem bothered though.

A left and a right from Wayne both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Vince Leonard Heidrich has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circle, before Wayne throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Heidrich's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Wayne lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
