The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Basic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Basic closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kolarov circles away.

Kolarov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Basic is looking for a sweep.
Kolarov gets to mount! Basic was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kolarov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Basic's face.

Kolarov is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Basic is defending well though. Kolarov let's go of the attempt for now.
The referee is taking a good look at Basic as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Kolarov!

Kolarov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Basic turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kolarov off and cradles Basic's limp body as Kolarov celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Andrei Kolarov!
