Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richie Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Henrique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunningham is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Richie Cunningham could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carlos Henrique's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cunningham feints and as Henrique raises his hands in defense, Cunningham changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cunningham is breathing heavily.
Henrique is looking to stand up but Cunningham isn't so interested in that idea.
Henrique seems keen to control Cunningham's posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Henrique moves in looking to clinch but Cunningham pushes him off.

Henrique has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cunningham avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Henrique is trying to drag Cunningham to the mat but Cunningham just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Cunningham got a little sloppy there for a moment and Henrique has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cunningham has managed to get both his arms back between Henrique's legs - danger averted.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cunningham cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A close round but Carlos Henrique will probably get the nod.

Henrique drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Cunningham tries to buck Henrique off but Henrique is having none of it.
Check out the look on Henrique's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Henrique is looking to take a break and control but Cunningham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cunningham parries the strikes from Henrique easily there. Henrique is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cunningham to escape.
Henrique misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Henrique has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Henrique moves into range and clinches up with Cunningham.
Cunningham tries for a takedown. No joy.
Henrique tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cunningham avoids it.

Henrique gets control of Cunningham's arms and successfully pulls guard. Henrique will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Henrique. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
