Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amaan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Amaan Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Smith!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith works the jab nicely.
Smith scores with a jab to the head.

Khan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.
Khan trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.
Smith is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khan is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Khan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Smith is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Smith has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khan is proving hard to escape from.

Khan has his feet on Smith's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Khan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Smith moves into the clinch.
Smith is struggling to control the position.
Khan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Smith pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Khan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Khan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Smith gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Khan blocks the elbow strike.
Khan is trying to drag Smith to the mat but Smith just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amaan Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith lands an uppercut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith stalling.
Smith lands with a light punch inside.
Smith lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Smith creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Smith keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Khan's efforts to push away.
Smith lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Smith working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Khan is rocked!
Smith lands a big right hand that drops Khan! The killer instinct kicks in and Smith finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Smith!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Smith!
