Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Carter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Carter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Goldberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Carter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Goldberg's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Carter throws a combination. Goldberg tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Despite being in the dominant position, Carl Carter just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Carter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
