The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nieddds misses with a series of wild punches.
Nieddds scores with a jab to the body.
Nieddds stuffs the takedown.
Corleone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Corleone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nieddds sprawls well initially but Corleone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nieddds pushes Corleone off looking to stand but Corleone dives back in and keeps control.

Corleone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Corleone is trying to work for a kimura but Nieddds is defending well.
Nieddds on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nieddds tries to get out of the position.
Corleone looks gassed!
Nieddds makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nieddds.
Nieddds wants to sweep but no luck.

Corleone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nieddds is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nieddds has escaped and now he's on top!

Corleone is looking for a triangle but Nieddds pushes his legs off easily.

Corleone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Nieddds got a little sloppy there for a moment and Corleone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nieddds has managed to get both his arms back between Corleone's legs - danger averted.
Nieddds controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Nieddds gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Corleone takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Nieddds dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nieddds digs a good body shot into Corleone's ribs.

Nieddds throws a right hand that Corleone ducks under and follows up with a left that Corleone also avoids with ease.
Nieddds lunges at Corleone with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Corleone's hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nieddds paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Corleone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nieddds sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Corleone somewhat.
Bobby Nieddds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredo Corleone.
Corleone on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nieddds fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nieddds moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Nieddds connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Corleone to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Nieddds!
