Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Maniche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maniche uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sol.
Sol looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Maniche scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Maniche dives in and grabs Sol's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sol pushes down on Maniche's head and hops out.
Maniche rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sol moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sol misses with a straight right.

Maniche drops Sol with a beautiful combination! Sol stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maniche is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maniche throws a right and a left that Sol avoids nicely.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Maniche is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sol has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maniche is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Sol.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Maniche throws a right and a left that both miss.
Maniche looks to land a combination but Sol avoids it well.

Sol feints and as Maniche raises his hands in defense, Sol changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Maniche fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Viktor Sol showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Sol throws a nice inside leg kick.
Maniche lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sol circles away quickly and effectively.
Maniche misses with a two punch combination.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sol.
Maniche tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sol sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maniche somewhat.
