The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barrun uses his free foot to push down on Elite's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Elite.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barrun cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Elite is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
