Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Vance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Brasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vance comes to the cage accompanied by The Refridgerator Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circle momentarily. Vance darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Vance takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Brasi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brasi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vance has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vance and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Vance fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brasi manages to avoid it.

Brasi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brasi has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Brasi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vance looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brasi wants to control for a moment but Vance uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vance has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brasi is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brasi gets control of Vance's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brasi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Vance sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brasi's guard.
Brasi is looking for a sweep. Vance is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Brasi is refusing to be controlled, as Vance sits in half guard.

Brasi tries to get to full guard but Vance has control of the leg.

Brasi is staying active underneath Vance, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Vance is really struggling to control Brasi but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bob Vance.
Vance lands with a good body shot.
Vance fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brasi on the side of the head.
Brasi shoots for a double leg takedown but Vance sprawls well. He's pushed Brasi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Brasi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Brasi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vance knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
