Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adron Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil The Phantom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright's entrance music is On the Eve of War. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying The Phantom's choice of entrance music: Super Freak. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil The Phantom!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Phantom staying out of range there.
The Phantom shoots in looking for a takedown. Wright tries to sprawl out of it but The Phantom keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wright manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters circling - Wright throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The Phantom shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wright as he avoids it easily.
The Phantom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

The Phantom is nestled in close to Wright, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The Phantom looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wright with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The Phantom is rocked!
Wright is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Phil The Phantom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wright stuns The Phantom with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wright throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Phantom on the side of the head.
Wright lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Adron Wright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The Phantom walks straight into a right hand from Wright - that's dropped him! Wright jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save The Phantom from any more punishment! The Phantom complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Adron Wright!
