Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Bordoada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Halipois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joshua Halipois will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joshua Halipois!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halipois closes the distance and clinches.

Halipois manages to break the clinch.

Bordoada drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Halipois is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bordoada bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Halipois really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bordoada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sebastian Bordoada just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Halipois tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bordoada swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bordoada feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bordoada tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Halipois paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bordoada is working Halipois over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bordoada, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
