Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop cracks Pinketon with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Roger Pinketon has been cut.
Bishop wants to clinch.
Bishop changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pinketon misses with a takedown attempt - Bishop sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pinketon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bishop as he jumps to the side.
Pinketon scores a takedown into full mount!
Pinketon stands up from mount. Strange move.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bishop lands with a nice body punch.
Pinketon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bishop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pinketon somewhat.
Gunnar Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Pinketon.
Pinketon looks gassed!
Bishop's corner calls for a 1-2. Bishop obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Bishop as Pinketon shoots in.
Pinketon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bishop circles away.
Bishop throws out a powerful jab.
Pinketon is rocked!
Bishop dances in with a quick combination. Pinketon is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bishop snaps Pinketon's head back. Pinketon stumbles backwards against the cage. Bishop steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Pinketon's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Pinketon just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gunnar Bishop!
