Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davis Kelley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Tokarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tokarev has chosen Real Villains - Celph Titled as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Davis Kelley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mikhail Tokarev!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelley tries to clinch but Tokarev moves out of range.

Tokarev feints and as Kelley raises his hands in defense, Tokarev changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kelley looking to control.

Tokarev drops back looking for a leg! Kelley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kelley manages to kick Tokarev off! Tokarev jumps back into Kelley's guard.
Kelley wants to sweep here but Tokarev controlling him for the moment.
Tokarev trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tokarev pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kelley is keeping the position for now.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kelley has his foot on Tokarev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tokarev works his way back into a safe position though.
Tokarev trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tokarev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tokarev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kelley doesn't manage to clinch there - Tokarev circles away.
Kelley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tokarev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kelley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Tokarev counters with a single leg into guard. Kelley didn't expect that.
Tokarev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kelley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tokarev won't allow Kelley to get back to his feet.

Tokarev trying to control but Kelley is working from the bottom.

Tokarev is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kelley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tokarev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tokarev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kelley wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tokarev manages to pass to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tokarev is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kelley has managed to free his arm - good work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kelley actively working from the bottom here.
Tokarev trying to pass the guard but Kelley defending well.

Tokarev is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kelley defends it well.

Tokarev is working for a submission of some sort.

Tokarev is trying to control the action in half guard but Kelley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kelley is looking to improve his position.
Tokarev wants to take a breather but Kelley is having none of it.

Tokarev is trying for a kimura here. Kelley looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Tokarev wins by kimura!
