Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Luis Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiedis comes to the cage accompanied by Give It Away. The crowd seem to be enjoying Castillo's choice of entrance music: The Prodigy - Omen. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Luis Castillo! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castillo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Castillo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Anthony Kiedis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castillo checks a leg kick. Kiedis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kiedis tries to clinch up but Castillo circles away and keeps his distance. Kiedis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Castillo misses with a looping right. Castillo feints and then cracks Kiedis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kiedis down. Castillo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kiedis. A head kick misses from Kiedis. Castillo throws a front kick that sends Kiedis stumbling back into the cage. Castillo checks a low kick from Kiedis. Kiedis throws a head kick that half lands.
Kiedis tries to clinch there but Castillo circles away.

Kiedis takes a swing at Castillo's ribcage but misses. Castillo thumps Kiedis with a low kick. Castillo misses with a straight right. Castillo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kiedis. Kiedis thows a leg kick but Castillo checks it and Castillo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kiedis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Kiedis wants to clinch up but Castillo keeps it at a distance. Kiedis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Castillo. Kiedis misses with a leg kick and Castillo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kiedis blocks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiedis throws a lazy head kick and Castillo counters with a thumping low kick. Kiedis throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Castillo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Castillo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Castillo punishes Kiedis's body with a nice straight punch. Kiedis takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kiedis tries to clinch up and Castillo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Castillo scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jose Luis Castillo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kiedis tries to clinch up and Castillo counters with a good low kick that Kiedis was not able to check. This has been an exciting period of action! Castillo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Castillo thuds a left hand into Kiedis's body. Kiedis looks for the body kick but Castillo saw that one coming. Castillo throws a leg kick and Kiedis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Castillo's knee momentarily. Castillo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kiedis tries to land a body kick and Castillo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kiedis throws a nice inside leg kick. Kiedis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kiedis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiedis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Castillo as he avoids it easily. Kiedis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kiedis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kiedis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kiedis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Castillo avoids it. Castillo lands a nice uppercut. Kiedis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Castillo is trying to break the clinch but Kiedis is controlling him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Castillo.

Kiedis misses with the body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Castillo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kiedis is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Castillo checks a leg kick. Kiedis misses with a body shot.
Castillo lands with a straight right. Kiedis didn't see that one coming. Kiedis throws a wild body kick that Castillo sees coming a mile off. Kiedis scores with a slapping inside leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Castillo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kiedis - the referee stops the clock and Castillo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kiedis. Castillo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A telegraphed right hand from Castillo misses the target. Kiedis throws a leg kick and Castillo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kiedis, right into the meat.

Kiedis thows a leg kick but Castillo checks it and Castillo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kiedis thinking. Kiedis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Castillo to score with a decent uppercut. Castillo throws a hook but Kiedis avoids it easily. Kiedis throws a head kick that misses and Castillo counters with a right hand to the body. Kiedis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Kiedis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castillo moves away. An inside leg kick from Kiedis misses. Nice straight punches there by Castillo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Castillo. Kiedis throws a head kick that misses and Castillo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Castillo throws a leg kick that is checked and Kiedis counters with a body kick. Castillo scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiedis fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice body kick from Kiedis. Kiedis wants to clinch and Castillo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kiedis throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Castillo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kiedis throws a leg kick and Castillo counters with a three punch combo that has Kiedis backing up. Kiedis nods at Castillo to acknowledge the strikes.
Kiedis is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Castillo feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Kiedis crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
