Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Triangle Choke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Triangle Choke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Choke is looking to improve his position.
Brown trying to control the pace. Brown tries to pass to full mount but Choke defends it. Brown moves nicely into side control. A lull in the action here as Brown stalls from top position. Choke wants to control but Brown postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown advances to full mount. Choke flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Choke tries to hold on but Brown pushes him away. Brown prevents Choke from getting the reversal. Brown controlling from the full mount. I looks like Brown might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Choke sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Brown is taking a breather. Choke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Choke won't allow Brown to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Choke trying to hold on to Brown's head to control him but Brown postures up.
Brown not doing much here.
Brown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Derek Brown. Brown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Choke to the mat! Choke manages to get full guard. Brown looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Choke looking for a guillotine here but Brown defends easily.
Choke has his feet on Brown's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Choke is breathing heavily. Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Choke's waist but Choke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side. Brown closes the distance and clinches up with Choke, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes Choke against the ropes but Choke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Choke tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Choke to the ground. Choke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Triangle Choke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Brown. Brown dives in and grabs Choke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Choke pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Choke doesn't succeed with the takedown and Brown counters with a takedown into side control. Choke can't do much from the bottom here. Brown is looking to take a break and control but Choke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brown is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Choke's shoulder. That is not cool. Choke prevents Brown from improving position.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Choke is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it. Brown takes a little break here. Choke wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Choke is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Choke tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg. Brown with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Choke manages to escape and get back to his feet! Brown misses with a takedown and Choke counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that. Choke throws and elbow that misses. Brown uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Choke's guard. Nice move by Brown! Brown is looking to advance position but Choke has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Brown regains half guard. Choke slows the pace down in half guard. Choke is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Choke trying to control from half guard but Brown is working away. Choke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derek Brown dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Brown gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Choke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Choke throws a strike but Brown rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Brown is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Choke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brown wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Brown controls the position. Derek Brown has got the better of the ground game so far. Brown passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Choke! Brown controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Choke flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Choke tries to hold on but Brown postures up. Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Despite being in the dominant position, Derek Brown just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown with a lazy takedown attempt and Choke counters by moving into the clinch. Brown wants a takedown.
Triangle Choke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Brown. Choke jumps guard and drags Brown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Brown controls from within his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Choke is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Choke pushing down on Brown's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Choke seems to be working for a kimura but Brown defends the submission attempt. Choke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Choke thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Brown to regain full guard. Choke thows a big elbow that misses. Choke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brown controlling the position. Choke wants to stand but Brown is controlling his posture from full guard. Choke throwing strikes but missing.
That's six minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Brown looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Brown's corner is telling him to maintain position. Brown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Choke's guard.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Brown controlling the action here. Choke is trying to control but can't.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Derek Brown. Choke fails with the takedown. Brown gets the takedown into side control. Choke is trying to buck Brown off. Choke is trying to escape the position but Brown is controlling the position.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Brown tries to advance to mount but can't. Choke is being controlled here. Choke prevents Brown from moving into mount. Choke is looking to reverse the position. Brown controls the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Choke tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Derek Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Brown has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
