Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Silva!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chance Silver!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva tries to bum rush Silver with a series of wild strikes but Silver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva throws a leg kick that misses.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silver's waist but Silver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Silva tries to land a front kick but Silver steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silver stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silver sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silver pinned against the cage. Silver gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Silver shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Silver tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage.

It looks like Chance Silver has been cut.
Silver goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Silver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Silver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Silver will be more careful next time no doubt.

That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silva rushes Silver and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Silva.
Silver tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva manages to break the clinch.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silver decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Silva wants to sweep here but Silver controlling him for the moment.
Silver drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silver jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Silver is standing up over Silva. Silva looks to escape but Silver dives into side control.

Chance Silver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Silva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Silva shoots and misses
and Silver counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silver.
Silva is trying to keep Silver in close.
Silva wants to improve his position but instead Silver has moved into half guard.
Silver is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Silver swings around for an armbar but Silva sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silver's guard.

Silva has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silver to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Silva is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silver pulls down on the head and he's put Silva to sleep! This one is all over!
