The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blaze looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Blaze throws the kick towards the body but Shuey avoids it.
Johny Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shuey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Blaze throws a head kick but Shuey moves out of range.
Blaze tries a head kick but it misses.
Blaze tries to land a front kick but Shuey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Blaze pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shuey takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Shuey shoots in and bounces Blaze off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Blaze can't keep his opponent in guard - Shuey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Blaze is breathing heavily.

Shuey has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Blaze defend it? Shuey steps over the head and cranks it - Blaze is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Shuey!
