Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Droopy Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Faber!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faber gets a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Faber can do anything to dispel that myth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diaz connects with a nice short shot to Faber's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Faber shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Faber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Faber shoots in for a double leg but Diaz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Diaz throws a lazy right hand but Faber sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Faber tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Faber somewhat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Droopy Diaz will probably get the nod.
That's time! Diaz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
