Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Professor F (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palhares's entrance music is Three 6 Mafia - It's A Fight . A fine choice. F is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: shortest man in world. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
F lands a head shot.
F ducks under a wild hook from Palhares.
Palhares misses with a looping right.
Palhares swings for the body but F moves out of range.
Palhares looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Palhares throws a combination but it was largely blocked by F.
Palhares moves away from the strike by F.

F loads up on a big right hand but Palhares slips the punch.
F is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Palhares.
Palhares dodges the punch combination from F.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

F misses with a double jab.
F throws a hook but Palhares avoids it easily.

Palhares swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting F counter with a right hand.
Palhares on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Palhares shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and F counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Palhares takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Palhares ducks under a wild hook from F.
A looping hook to the body misses from Palhares. F does a little dance to reset his feet.
F has closed the distance and engaged Palhares in a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for F.
F pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
F lands a right hand.

Palhares is trying to work for a single leg takedown but F pulls him back up using the underhooks.
F lands a shoulder strike.
F turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and F manages to end up in side control.
Palhares tries to get back to half guard but can't.
F in side control, just content to control the action for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
F content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palhares is looking for a sweep.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Professor F dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
F avoids a punch combination nicely.
Palhares fails with the takedown
and F counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Palhares wants to get back to full guard.
F perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Palhares is trying to maintain the position but F is very close to passing his half guard.
Palhares is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Still in half guard, F seems content to control.

F prevents Palhares from improving his position.
F perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Palhares has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. F is working away from the top position though.
F is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
F throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Palhares trying to control from the bottom.
F takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Palhares manages to get to full guard.
F is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Palhares keeping moving, preventing F from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Professor F.
F throws out a loose jab but Palhares uses good head movement to avoid it.
Palhares throws a left and a right that both miss
and F counters with a takedown into side control.
Palhares is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Palhares wants to control but F is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Palhares manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
F's corner is telling him to maintain position.
F trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Palhares wants to sweep but no luck.
Palhares is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Professor F showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Palhares misses with a series of wild punches.

Palhares shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and F holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Palhares jumps guard but F stands there with Palhares around his waist. Palhares gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
F lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Palhares backwards.

Palhares fails to pull the fight into his guard.
F throws an elbow but it misses.
F lands an uppercut.
Palhares tries to score a body lock takedown but F shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
F scores with a hook to the body.
F prevents the takedown attempt.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
F lands with a left to the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Palhares is trying to drag F to the mat but F just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A hook to the body from F.
F lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Palhares.
F has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Palhares clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
F has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Palhares's body.

Lucio Palhares has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
I really don't envy Palhares right now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
F is riding his opponent, not letting Palhares buck him off.
F has the hooks in. Palhares is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
F avoiding Palhares 's attempts to control his hands.
Palhares is really stuck here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
F slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Professor F comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well F has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
