Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and the natural Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blatt comes to the cage accompanied by you're going down- sick puppies. Jeff Blatt had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blatt to score with a decent uppercut.
Blatt throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture.
Couture decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blatt wants to control but Couture is keeping busy.
Couture not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Couture moves forwards but Blatt connects with a nice, crisp jab.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Couture creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Couture moves forwards but Blatt connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Blatt stalks Couture and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Couture's face. Couture staggers backwards, shaken.

Blatt is looking for a triangle here but Couture uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Blatt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blatt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
