Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunvald Sorenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sofian El Keurti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunvald Sorenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sofian El Keurti!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sorenson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

El Keurti is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sorenson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close round but I would say that Gunvald Sorenson will probably get the nod.

El Keurti seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
