Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Burtaloy Tabasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John AppleSkillett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Burtaloy Tabasco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John AppleSkillett! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

Tabasco walks into a left hand. Tabasco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but AppleSkillett paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice cross by AppleSkillett. AppleSkillett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tabasco shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tabasco was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! AppleSkillett is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tabasco looking to control but AppleSkillett is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. AppleSkillett tries to hold on but Tabasco pushes him away. AppleSkillett is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tabasco is staying active.

Tabasco sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Tabasco tries to control but AppleSkillett wriggling away. Tabasco working AppleSkillett over with strikes here. Tabasco looking to control but AppleSkillett is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. AppleSkillett is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
AppleSkillett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tabasco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. AppleSkillett reaches up and holds on to Tabasco to control the position. Tabasco controlling his opponent. AppleSkillett holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Tabasco tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tabasco thowing shots but they're missing.
Tabasco is going oldschool here, as he tries to force AppleSkillett to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so AppleSkillett shrugs it off.
Tabasco working for a guillotine from mount but AppleSkillett is in no mood to give up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tabasco thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. AppleSkillett is trying desperately to improve position. AppleSkillett tries to hold on but Tabasco pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. AppleSkillett is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John AppleSkillett dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
AppleSkillett comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. AppleSkillett lands with a good body shot. AppleSkillett slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. AppleSkillett connects with a body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! AppleSkillett tests Tabasco's chin there with a solid looking shot.
AppleSkillett closes the distance and clinches.
AppleSkillett breaks from the clinch.
AppleSkillett has managed to clinch.
AppleSkillett is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. AppleSkillett lands on the inside with an uppercut. AppleSkillett lands an uppercut. A short body shot lands from AppleSkillett as the two fighters clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for AppleSkillett.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. AppleSkillett lands an uppercut.
AppleSkillett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Some bone on bone action there as Tabasco checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. AppleSkillett scores with a nice head shot. AppleSkillett ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
AppleSkillett drops Tabasco with a beautiful combination! Tabasco stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - AppleSkillett is looking for the KO!

Tabasco is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick misses from AppleSkillett. Oh Tabasco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
AppleSkillett rushes Tabasco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tabasco seems to have got his legs back now.
AppleSkillett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tabasco on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. AppleSkillett lands a body shot.
AppleSkillett lands a nice shot that snaps Tabasco's head back.
AppleSkillett lands a jab. Decent striking displayed by AppleSkillett there.

AppleSkillett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. AppleSkillett lands a hook to the side of the head. AppleSkillett gets through Tabasco's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. AppleSkillett lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tabasco backwards.
AppleSkillett escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
AppleSkillett uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. AppleSkillett lands with a right hand.
AppleSkillett drops Tabasco with a beautiful combination! Tabasco stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - AppleSkillett is looking for the KO! AppleSkillett lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Tabasco is looking to close the distance but AppleSkillett sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Tabasco crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Tabasco is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
