Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Trea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernandez has chosen blind to you(collie buddz) as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Trea! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jared Fernandez! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trea swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Trea shoots in but Fernandez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fernandez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fernandez working away. Fernandez stands up. Fernandez clinches up with Trea and pushes him back against the cage. Fernandez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Trea prevents it.
Trea gets underhooks to prevent Fernandez's takedown attempt.
Trea wants to get back to striking at distance but Fernandez won't allow it.
Fernandez tries to land knees in the clinch but Trea avoids the damage to the body. Fernandez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Trea has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Trea wants a takedown.
Fernandez is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Fernandez wants to break free but Trea has control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez goes for a takedown attempt but Trea pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Steve Trea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Fernandez. Fernandez moves away from the strike by Trea. Fernandez has closed the distance and engaged Trea in a clinch.
Fernandez tries to stall but Trea uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Fernandez goes for a takedown attempt but Trea pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Fernandez wants to clinch. Fernandez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fernandez tries to keep at a distance but Trea has taken the fight into the clinch. Trea gets underhooks to prevent Fernandez's takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fernandez jumps guard and drags Trea to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Trea passes into half guard. Fernandez looks gassed! Trea working over Fernandez with some ground and pound. Fernandez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Trea keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fernandez wants to get back to his feet. Trea looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fernandez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Trea lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Trea working the head and body with strikes. Fernandez wants to improve his position but Trea is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trea connects with a nice short shot to Fernandez's temple. Fernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trea. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fernandez wants to control but Trea is keeping busy.
Fernandez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Trea kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fernandez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandez is trying to maintain the position but Trea is very close to passing his half guard. Fernandez tries to get to full guard but Trea has control of the leg.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fernandez fails to land the takedown. Trea takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fernandez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Trea counters with a shoot takedown. Fernandez fights it but they end up in guard. Trea stopping the sweep attempt from Fernandez. Fernandez keeping moving, preventing Trea from controlling successfully. Fernandez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Trea won't allow Fernandez to sweep him here. Fernandez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fernandez can do anything to dispel that myth. Trea trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fernandez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fernandez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Trea tries to get to full guard but Fernandez has control of the leg. Fernandez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fernandez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Trea is looking for a sweep. Fernandez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Trea slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Trea is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fernandez actively working from the bottom here. Fernandez wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Trea dominated that round. That's time! Trea's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fernandez moves out of range of the strikes. Trea closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fernandez circles away. Trea fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fernandez misses with a takedown and Trea connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Trea is looking to clinch. Trea looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fernandez is fending him off so far but Trea persists. Nope, Fernandez circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Trea. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fernandez lands with a slapping head kick. Trea scores with the left hand. Fernandez knows he should have avoided that one. Trea throws a lazy right hand but Fernandez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Trea catches Fernandez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jared Fernandez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trea darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Trea wants to take a breather but Fernandez is having none of it. Trea has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Trea works his way into side control. Fernandez is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trea landing a few strikes. Trea working the head with strikes. Fernandez gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Still in half guard, Trea seems content to control. Fernandez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Trea postures up.
Trea with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fernandez is rocked! Trea is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Fernandez is still in real trouble! Can Trea finish him? Trea with a nice head shot there. Fernandez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Trea trying to control the position from guard on top but Fernandez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fernandez has momentary wrist control but Trea slips an elbow through the middle. Trea keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fernandez's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trea with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Trea's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fernandez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Trea makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fernandez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Trea is one step ahead there. Trea works over Fernandez with some ground and pound from guard. Trea scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Trea trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Trea throws a strike but Fernandez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Trea manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

It looks like Jared Fernandez has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trea fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That has opened up Jared Fernandez's cut even more. Fernandez wants to control but Trea is having none of it. Trea is landing with some decent strikes but Fernandez is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The cut above Jared Fernandez's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Trea with a couple of short strikes.
Jared Fernandez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jared Fernandez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Steve Trea!
