Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Renato Crashing Mashin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krieg throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Krieg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Krieg keeps Crashing Mashin at a distance using the push kick.
Krieg throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Crashing Mashin.


It looks like Renato Crashing Mashin has been cut.
Krieg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Krieg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Krieg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Crashing Mashin. That did some damage!
Krieg looks to land a combination but Crashing Mashin avoids it well.
Krieg moves in looking to clinch but Crashing Mashin pushes him off.
Krieg throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Crashing Mashin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krieg is looking to clinch but Crashing Mashin is avoiding it.

Krieg gets caught flat footed, as Crashing Mashin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Crashing Mashin cracks Krieg with a solid left hand.

Krieg throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Crashing Mashin scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crashing Mashin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Krieg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crashing Mashin defends it easily.

Krieg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crashing Mashin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crashing Mashin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Crashing Mashin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Krieg is keeping the position for now.
Crashing Mashin lands a couple of elbows.
Krieg has momentary wrist control but Crashing Mashin slips an elbow through the middle.
Krieg avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Krieg is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Crashing Mashin is in close to Krieg's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Crashing Mashin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crashing Mashin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Crashing Mashin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Crashing Mashin forces his way into half guard.
Crashing Mashin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Krieg with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crashing Mashin is nestled in close to Krieg, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Crashing Mashin lands a nice short elbow.
Krieg is trying to stand.
Crashing Mashin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Crashing Mashin connects with a nice short shot to Krieg's temple.

Crashing Mashin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Krieg could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Crashing Mashin has cracked it and Krieg is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Crashing Mashin!
