Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krigare comes to the cage accompanied by Achtung Pantzer by Raubtier. Hunter has chosen The Used - The Taste Of Ink as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Daniel Krigare has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Daniel Krigare seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Krigare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Hunter! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krigare moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Roy Hunter has been cut. Hunter throws an overhand right that lands on Krigare's shoulder, as Krigare tries to avoid the shot. Hunter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daniel Krigare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunter gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Krigare, who protects the arm well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Krigare is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hunter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Krigare, who protects the arm well. That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter throwing shots but missing, from side control. Hunter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hunter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Krigare manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hunter's best efforts. Krigare wants to control but Hunter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Krigare controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Hunter is looking to advance position but Krigare won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hunter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Krigare is just riding it out for now. Hunter eventually gives up the hold. Krigare regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hunter. Krigare not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter throws a big right hand that misses. Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krigare swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hunter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hunter shoots in but no luck this time. Hunter drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Krigare manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hunter manages to get himself to full guard.
Krigare not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hunter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krigare can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hunter looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krigare trying to control but Hunter is working from the bottom. Hunter is striking from the bottom but Krigare uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Well, if Krigare is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Roy Hunter will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Roy Hunter's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Krigare thows a body shot but no joy. Hunter throws a right hand that Krigare ducks under and follows up with a left that Krigare also avoids with ease. Hunter avoids the head kick by Krigare.
Hunter scores a takedown into full mount! Hunter looking to secure an arm triangle but Krigare defends it well. Hunter goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Krigare is on top in guard.
Hunter is breathing heavily. Hunter working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Krigare has passed into half guard!
That's one minute gone in the round. Krigare looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hunter with the active half guard here but Krigare passes nicely into side control. Krigare wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hunter keeps working. Hunter tries to buck Krigare off but Krigare is having none of it. Hunter manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Krigare is just riding it out for now. Hunter eventually gives up the hold. Krigare is controlling Hunter's trapped leg to prevent Hunter from advancing to side control. Hunter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Krigare desperately trying to maintain half guard. Hunter prevents Krigare from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hunter frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hunter thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hunter stands up from mount. Strange move. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Krigare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunter moves away. Krigare scores with a punch to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Roy Hunter will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Roy Hunter's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Krigare misses the shot to the body. Hunter misses with a series of wild punches.
Krigare defending well as Hunter loads up on a big left hand. Krigare throws a hook but Hunter blocks it. Hunter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Krigare sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunter somewhat. Hunter keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krigare falls off balance throwing a combination
so Hunter counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krigare is trying to control the position but Hunter postures up. Hunter stands and steps away. Krigare gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Krigare dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hunter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Krigare is looking to clinch but Hunter is avoiding it.
Hunter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A jab from Krigare misses. Krigare chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hunter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Krigare. Krigare tries to clinch up. Krigare throws the left hand but Hunter avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krigare avoids it really well and circles away. Daniel Krigare has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Hunter. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Krigare lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Krigare loads up on a big right hand but Hunter slips the punch. Krigare throws a nice looking combination but Hunter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Krigare will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Krigare swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hunter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hunter works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hunter is working for an americana but Krigare has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Hunter was thinking about the submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Krigare is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Krigare has escaped and now he's on top! Hunter throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Daniel Krigare has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hunter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Krigare stacks Hunter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Krigare! Roy Hunter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Roy Hunter has got the better of the ground game so far.

And that's the end of the fight! Roy Hunter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hunter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
