Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spectacular throws and low kick but Maia moves out of range easily.
Spectacular tries to clinch but Maia moves out of range.
Maia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spectacular tries to avoid it but Maia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spectacular to the ground. Spectacular escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Maia closes the distance and clinches up with Spectacular, looking for a takedown. Maia pushes Spectacular against the cage but Spectacular circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Maia shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Maia looking to control but Spectacular is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Maia has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Spectacular's face.
Spectacular is working to get back to half guard.
Maia is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Spectacular has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Maia lands a nice shot to the head.
Maia can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Spectacular is looking to escape.
Maia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Spectacular can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Spectacular tries to reverse the position but Maia maintains control.

Maia manages to capitalize on a mistake by Spectacular to take his back!

Spectacular is trying to reverse the position but instead Maia has taken his back - oops!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Spectacular just trying to survive but Maia is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Maia is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Spectacular trying to control the action but Maia just sinks the hooks in.
Maia is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Spectacular knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Spectacular for a finish.
Spectacular wants to control his opponent's hands but Maia gets his hands free.

Spectacular is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spectacular keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Maia's head.
Spectacular makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spectacular can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Maia can't keep his opponent in guard - Spectacular advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Maia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Maia tries to get to full guard but Spectacular has control of the leg.

Spectacular seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Maia is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
