Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Safic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues's entrance music is Lose Yourself. A fine choice. Safic has chosen Papa Roach - Last Resort (Uncensored Version) as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Safic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Safic misses with a body kick.
Safic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rodrigues closes the distance and clinches up with Safic, looking for a takedown. Rodrigues pushes Safic against the cage but Safic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Safic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Safic throws a sloppy head kick and Rodrigues moves out of range easily.

Rodrigues shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Safic defends it nicely.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rodrigues was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
