Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Oak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gary Oak looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gary Oak! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Miller shoots and misses and Oak counters with a nice double leg into side control. Miller won't be happy with that. Miller tries to buck Oak off but Oak is having none of it. Miller misses with an elbow from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miller, who protects the arm well. Oak looks gassed! Miller gets back to half guard. Miller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Miller is looking to stand up but Oak isn't so interested in that idea. Miller is controlling Oak's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller has Oak pulled in close to control his posture. Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Oak is proving a slippery customer.
Oak looking to sit in guard and control but Miller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Oak is retaining full guard.

Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Oak looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller stands and steps away. Oak gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Miller fails to land the takedown. Oak throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Miller. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oak throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Miller. Oak moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Miller tries to clinch but Oak moves away and Oak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oak moves into the clinch. Oak tries to break the clinch but Miller is controlling the position. Oak is trying to break the clinch but Miller has him pressed against the cage. Oak wants to break free but Miller has control.

Oak feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gary Oak will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Oak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Miller rushes Oak and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Oak trying to control the position but instead, Miller has worked for underhooks and has pushed Oak into the cage. Oak wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Miller throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Miller fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller looking for a takedown. Miller breaks from the clinch.
Miller tries to clinch but Oak moves away and Oak counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Miller is lucky that one didn't land flush. Miller looks to land a right hand but Oak moved out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Oak counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Miller tries for a takedown but Oak circles away easily and Oak counters with a big head kick but Miller shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oak scores with a punch to the head. The fight moves into the clinch position. Oak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oak goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Oak is looking to clinch. Miller blocks a head kick by Oak.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oak looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oak scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Oak lands a head kick. Miller smiles back at him and beckons him forward. A head kick misses from Oak. Miller clinches but Oak breaks the clinch and Oak counters with a head kick. That will keep Miller thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jason Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oak throws a head kick that Miller semi-blocks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oak lands a glancing blow to the side of Miller's head. Miller takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oak tries a head kick but it misses.
Oak tries to clinch but Miller is having none of it. Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Miller working for a submission but Oak is keeping him at bay. Miller controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oak tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control. Miller looking to secure an arm triangle but Oak defends it well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A nice elbow there by Miller. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Miller will probably get the nod. That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oak manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Miller showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Oak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Miller wants to control from the top but Oak keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Oak controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miller throws a lazy head kick and Oak counters by clinching up. Miller lands a body punch in the clinch. A knee to the head by Miller.
Oak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miller misses with a takedown and Oak counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Miller misses with a takedown and Oak counters with a big head kick but Miller shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oak tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Oak. Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oak but Oak pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller tries to clinch there but Oak circles away.
