Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boston Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boston Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Henry! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Dean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A nice leg kick lands there from Henry. Dean avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dean tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dean has a takedown stuffed. Henry fails with the takedown and Dean counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean is working hard here to advance position. Henry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dean is controlling him. Dean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Henry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Henry is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dean trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dean is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Henry wants to stand and escape but Dean is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dean shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Dean sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Henry defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Dean keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Dean thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dean is taking a breather. Henry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Henry tries to kick Dean off but Dean keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dean controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boston Dean dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Henry looks to clinch and Dean counters with a one-two to the body. Henry clinches but Dean breaks the clinch enabling Dean to counter with a crisp jab. John Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henry shoots and misses and Dean counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dean not doing much here.
Henry wants to control but Dean passes into side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry bucks up and tries to throw Dean off but instead Dean has got his back! Dean throwing damaging strikes from the back! Henry could be in trouble here!
Dean landing with strikes. What can Henry do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Henry is trapped and Dean is scoring with shots to the head and body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean scores with punches and elbows. Dean connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Henry to escape the position.
Dean lands strikes to the head. Dean throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Dean is hanging on to Henry's back as he tries to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Can Henry hold on?! Dean is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Dean scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Dean slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Dean misses with punches from the back. Henry covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Dean is punishing Henry with strikes - can he finish him?!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henry is covering up but some of the strikes from Dean are getting through and doing damage.
Henry is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dean biding his time, controlling Henry. Henry is still in real trouble! Can Dean finish him? Dean lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. A helpless look comes across Henry 's face. He knows he's trapped as Dean lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boston Dean!
